No out of pocket. Went through Paccar so money comes out of my managed maintenance account. $1100.

Grijon and Cat sdp Thank this.

    sadwar,
Could you share your strategy on what you do to get back home to CA? I have been bouncing around the north east for the past week and I live in Phoenix AZ. Some really good paying freight up here so I am in no hurry to leave, but I do need to be home in June.

I keep an eye on the load board and occasionally find a load going back across all the way. But usually I work my way to either Dallas area or the Midwest. From Dallas you can always get loads to Denver and then from there to Phoenix. Midwest has loads across sometimes as well. But Dallas to Denver to Phoenix is your best bet.

First time at the Charlotte OC. Pick up my relay and wouldn't you know it, it's got a light out. So I'm sitting in the express bay waiting....

    'No defects' my ###....

Pretripped an hour ago, everything is fine. Got to consignee and upper marker light is out. Yesterday picked a relay with a bad hub seal - top of the rim was clean, bottom had a nice oil slick. Obviously fine when they dropped it an hour earlier, but not when I got it. Sometimes shot happens.

Took 30 minutes to fix that clearance light.

Got 10 miles down the road and my check engine light and MIL (amber) light go off. Shizzle! I notice no change in how the engine is running. So I keep driving.

About ten minutes later the check engine light goes out. But the MIL light is still on and I have a couple of active faults. However the truck is running fine.

So I drove 584 miles today to Pittston PA. Dropped my load at Home Depot and picked up my next load at the same Home Depot. Now I'm sitting at the Petro here in Pittston.

Suppose I should take the truck by a dealer somewhere and see why this light is on and what these codes mean. Maybe they just hard set and just need to be cleared out? Who the heck knows.

The truck seems to be running fine.....

    Sigh..............
