Wow. Got extremely lucky today. Was surfing the load board here at the house and a load popped up, still labeled new, that picks up right where I will be in the mid-west on Friday, goes directly to my house in Fontana CA, weighs only 12k lbs, AND pays very very well! Unbelievably good luck!

    Back at it today.
450 miles, halfway to my live unload on Tues morning.
Traffic not too bad out of NY into OH. We'll see how tmrw is through the rest of OH, KY and into TN.
    Relaxation begun........

Near Amsterdam NY at a pilot on a 34....... I didn't need one but the freight choices were skimpy and I found one to get me thru the house on tuesday so I'm finished with this past week now 4640.00 in revenue so not to bad and i was home for 2 nights to boot.

I was searching the threads for info on detention pay with IC Choice. Got stuck at Zachary La. Gp paper mill. One Co. driver here waiting. I'm told they are way behind, CS said they got a voice mail, no info on what the problem is. Second shift says they have no info on detention pay, so I waited. New guy came in, been in the country 13 months from India, nice guy, helped him with a few questions and gave him my number to ask if he had questions, but I still sit. Check back in 2 hours. Check back in 2 hours. Got here at 5:45 local time and am still here the next morning checking at 1:45, trailer still not in the door to load yet. MJ the new driver said his load is ready, but he can't haul it because he is out of hours, going to be late anyway, 3rd day away from his trainer (of which they left him with the guy for 5 days)... another Schneider Co. truck came in, his is ready too. Mine still not in the door. Any info on Detention pay folks (sorry to Hijack the thread Sadwar, but I tried to msg you but you are already asleep.... I wish I could post on that Google Spreadsheet... this place would get a definate thumbs down. Load was supposed to be ready at 4:49 pm.

    No problem.
Yes you get detention. Paid as follows according to the table from class:
    Less than six hours $0
    6 to 8 $50
    8 to 10 $75
    10 to 12 $100
    12 to 14 $150
    14 to 24 $300

Call your ica to make sure you get it.
    Good luck.

    Grijon and Wheelwell Thank this.

440 miles today. At the FJ five miles from my live unload in the am. Traffic was on the rise this afternoon, glad I finished up early. Now what to do for 18+ hours.....
