Usually yes, I would be doing exactly that. But I'm booked out until next Monday when I get to the house, and then I'm taking two days off. Not a lot on the load board for ten days in the future, unfortunately. So I'm watching recorded TV on my laptop instead! And enjoying my nice AC from my APU in this 85 degree heat. You coming through here tmrw drifter42? I'm at the FJ in Franklin KY.

Nothing wrong with recorded tv. I won't be coming that way, I'm picking up in Jackson Tn going to Ft.Smith.

Yea I'm booked out til next week and the loads are skimpy that far out I imagine tomorrow when most shippers reopen they will dump freight on the board.

It will be interesting to see if they do. I was originally planning on holding off on booking a load to see if KC or Tractor Supply did exactly that tomorrow morning, but then I found this load that I could pick up tonight and jumped on it just in case. I have a feeling a lot of the freight will be going straight to company drivers to get them moving since I imagine a lot took time off this weekend.

I can tell you there are a bunch of loads staged at Gary, Obetz, Eau Claire, WI, and Eagan, MN. I put several of them there....

On the plus side, got 2 500+ mile runs to make up for all the relays last week :)

I racked up almost 3200 in the last 7 days. I have been playing roulette with my recap. If I had hit any delays, there would have been some major HOS violations. I was told they were staging a ton of loads on all the OC yards.

Same here...pulling in a couple times with single digits left on my 14. I hate doing that...just asking for trouble. Home time on Thursday, get to meet Rayleigh finally! Also, looking forward to some two-wheel therapy. I need it after this week :)

Thank you. When I got day shift they arranged for the Det. Pay and found the other load that was on the board when I scheduled it. They said that driver wouldn't be in til 1600 so they'd switch the two around. They also said GP wasn't sure if the shift that was spose to load it would even show. Lol. So I got out of there. As to class room stuff, that stuff is in the blue bag they gave us, but our Oregon class was pretty disorganized.... As am I sometimes. On a lighter note, trucks getting 8mpg heading up to Illinois :)
