In SLC. 9 am live unload tmrw. Then the truck goes in the shop again. Been popping codes up for the last month, then they disappear. This morning they popped up and the truck wouldn't start until I turned the key on and off 20 times. Def lights were flashing red like it thought there was no def in the tank, though it is full. Tired of dealing with it off and on like it is, so it's in the shop she goes. With the big move next week can't wait any more.

Arrived at consignee for my live unload. Truck has once again cleared all of the fault codes it was showing. Still gonna go by FL since I gave up my preassignments to get the truck checked out. Now if they can only get me unloaded and out of here. The line at FL will be huge i'm sure.:)

Wow. Swift O/O next to me at my live unload. Employee comes out, gives him his paperwork, says he is good to go. O/O had been walking his dog for an hour and wasn't in the truck the whole time. He pulls away from the dock and I see his truck is full. I'm thinking OK maybe he got loaded? He pulls out into the street and just sits there, never gets out to close his doors. About 45 minutes later employee comes out and says they screwed up and the guy next to him got unloaded, not him. So O/O had to go back in the door to get unloaded for real this time. Weird.

FL found nothing wrong with my truck. Just cleared out some old codes, so I'm sure I'll be back to one again soon. Decided to just head to the house to get ready for the big move next week. Waiting on my load to be ready this afternoon around 3, then driving to So Cal. Should be home tmrw. Then back at it next Thursday with wife and cat in tow.
    Carry on......

How are you going to handle the move? I mean, are you paying movers? How are you getting your POV's and your truck up to New York? I have never moved while I have been driving. Was wondering how you are going to handle the logistics?

Are you still going to run West Coast on occasions after your move? Do you find it comparable to running just NE?

I am paying movers to move our stuff. I am selling our POV, so no worry there. The wife, the cat, and myself are driving the truck across, taking loads and making money along the way.
I have no plans to come back out west, way better rates in the east and especially the northeast. But if the money is right, I'll go anywhere.

Delivered my load, once I made a detour to the Fontana OC to get the tandems repaired so they would slide like Home Depot requires. Then BT to the house. Packing for days....... Begin....

You need to rig up some external ventilation for that litter box so that when that pissed off and scared ****less cat drops some rank *** deuce in your truck you and your wife can breathe LOL
