BTW Sadwar start looking at your suspension air pressure gauge after each load, this is my favorite gauge on my truck because it is a huge help when trying to get the tandems in a good spot on heavy loads that you don't really know how they are loaded. Personally if I end up with over 50 PSI on the drive axles, I'll scale just to be safe.

I've got the same setup dfo. Red Tab to move when releasing the fifth wheel and I've got an airbag dump switch. Here's some pics of all the dash gauges.

Looking at your other pictures, I was wondering what your 12th gauge was, I only have 11. Looks like you have got a boost gauge and I do not. Cool!

My dash is different from any Cascadia I have seen before. Yours is a 2011 as well, right? Mine doesn't have the chrome bezels or the wood grain trim.

Also, I see on your right side panel there are two switches with OPT written on them. If they're not actually being used for anything, you could talk to the shop about (re)moving them and then mounting the Qualcomm bracket directly to the panel. The only disadvantage is that you can't extend the unit to show the keyboard while still in the bracket because it will hit the base of the trailer brake. But, I've gotten used to using the on-screen keyboard, and I just remove it from the bracket if I need to type a long message. Other than that its in a good spot for being able to see Navigo.

Great idea. I haven't seen that those two switches do anything. I'll talk to the shop about that.
Yep. Mine is a 2011. You're right. Never seen a dash like that before. Kinda spaceship looking!
I've got more switches on that second bank near the ac controls. One of them is labeled DRL OVRD with an orange LED that goes off and on as I drive. Thought it meant daytime running lights over ride. But the lights don't come on. Shop has no clue either! Research time.
You said your tanks were both 120 gal right? Mine are 140! Lots of weight! And fuel!

1 of those option switches could be used for passenger seat ejection and the other could be used to electrify running boards for the untimely approach of a lot lizard or some beggar selling fake gold jewelry:biggrin_2559:.

My guess is that the DRL override cuts off the DRLs. They are probably normally on any time the parking brakes are released. Start the truck, chock the wheels and release the parking brake, leave the running/headlight switch OFF and go look at the headlights - they would probably be on. If you hit the switch I bet it cuts them off. Probably there so you could "flash" another driver without blinding him with your high beams? Just a guess.

I always hated DRLs, when I lived up in Vancouver, Canada, you shoulda seen how many 4 wheelers would drive home from work in the dark with nothing BUT their DRLs on, making them completely invisible from the rear. It gave them a false sense of "oh I've got all my lights on" and they'd forget to turn their actual running/headlights on. SO dangerous.

Also, 140 gal tanks, nice! Yeah mine are only 120 each. I don't think you'll have any problem scaling that thing heavy, lol. My ICA in Charlotte never collected my scale ticket, would be interesting to see how that plays out if that situation ever arises, which I hope it won't.

Mine weighed in at 20,180lbs with fuel pretty much as much as I could go without spraying myself with it, and my toolbox, loadbars, fridge, clothes, yadda yadda in the truck. I've probably added +/- 200lbs of crap into the truck since I got it, but other than that its pretty much as heavy as it will be unless I start gaining weight like a madman lol.

Nope, just 20. Remember you're not scaling with a trailer, just bobtail. Honestly it would make more sense to scale with a trailer... but remember, this is Schneider we're talking about.

If you had a 30k lb bobtail, man you had better be running a 144" ICT sleeper with a full sized gym inside it, lol.

By the way, does anyone know which trailers of ours are the heaviest? The 94XXXX and 95XXXX, or the 99XXXX, or the newer Hyundais or Great Danes, etc? I want to take the heaviest trailer we have (ok not Emerson, never pull those anyway) and my tractor loaded to the gills and scale it to see just how much I have left over for a load, I'm curious.
