SFI has a selection of new FL's and KW's and used trucks as well. You have to call and talk to a lease rep to see exactly what is available, as it changes all the time.

there is NO APU on the Shaker! you get a battery pack for the AC
If you want an APU it's an extra $1800 up front

Good luck, it's wayyy better here than Swift

Incorrect... There is a battery APU like the one I have on mine....

Oh, and if you do get one with the battery APU you do get an inverter which provides AC throughout the cabin... That's what I have...

    I think we misunderstood.
When I worked for Crete/Shaffer I had a "battery pack" that's what they called it. Where it would recharge when you driving and thats how the AC would work.
However one of the many reasons I hated my life at Crete and live off energy drinks and sleeping pills was because of that stupid battery thing. I cannot sleep in a hot truck and that battery pack would die in 2-3 hours during the daytime in the summer even after a full day I driving. At nigh time and like 75 out degrees it would last 6 hours. That thing drove me nuts.
When I was thinking of joining I told Schneider the system I had at Crete and they said it's the same thing here. I told them I refuse to have battery anything for AC because I'm not doing the whole "sleeping" in a hot truck again.
They said my options were a Kenworth or $1800 add on for the Shaker for a fuel powered APU.

I dunno if I was just unlucky but it gets hot as hell in these truck during summer and those battery things just don't do the job. Crete also would let you idle the truck also so yeah.
I made good money at Crete though but forget those 3am appointments and sleeping during the day lol
