close to 30 years ago I left an REM concert in St. Louis headed back to my dad's house in Alton Ill. Well, somewhere along the line I took a wrong turn and wound up in East St. Louis, (late on a Saturday night). I finally rolled up to about 6 guys standing on the corner drinking beer, and I pulled over and rolled the window down. A tall dude walked up to the car.......
"You lost, ain't cha boy."
"Yes sir."
"Go up to the end of the street, turn right and never come back."
"Yes sir. Thank you sir."

LOL.......man East St. Louis used to look like a war zone back in the day. But there were still kind people.
