Sounds like you made the right choice. The Trucks fixed.Meanwhile your old Mechanic may still be needed in future.Surely He can’t blame you for timeline. Sounds like He has enough bussiness.Unfortunately I’ve seen this happen with Mechanics and Salesman. No time for regular customers. When things slow down they call trying to sell me some item or Service. Too Late.

It's too bad... its almost like people (mechanics and salesman in this case) have lost their humanity. Which is crappy for so many reasons. Its difficult to try and bring that humanity back, especially as a mechanic.

    Stay safe everyone! Happy holidays!

I bought a new Car once from a New Salesman. Young Kid about 20 yrs old. I put him through the ringer and got a great deal. 1 month later it got totaled out. I bought a second one much nicer loaded up and made it an easy deal for him. 2 yrs later I called him told him exactly what I wanted and when I’d be home to sign papers. Very simple deal. Never heard back. When I called He told me he’s too busy selling cars to look for me in the dealer network. So I went down the street. Less than a year later he’s calling trying to entice me. I asked So what’s the deal cold calling old Customers now that things are slow? Too Late. He learned a lesson hopefully.

Hopefully he did. Unfortunately, with the B.S. I've seen from people, I doubt he did. With all these trends becoming popular how about we bring back "trends" like respect and over all just kindness? I know not everyone will always get along. But can we at least be respectful and honest to one another? I'm so sick and tired of what I see out on the road with my dad, what I saw in the repair shops I've worked in. Its also disheartening how I've started my own repair business to bring those "old school" morals, or "standards" back to show O/O's (in this case) their are honorable, trustworthy and decent mechanics out there that value you and your truck above the dollar.
