Are you guys serious? Log your status online, you are probably already on there looking for loads anyway. Its not required, its to help you out and save you from having to sit on hold making check calls.
I work for CH (in case you couldnt tell) and was hoping to get a drivers perspective, on a few things. Since you always seem to have something to complain about... maybe you can help me out.
1. What is so hard about check calling. You are sitting waiting to load/unload but getting an update is like pulling teeth.
2. If the rate is so bad, why haul it? I only pay what i have to. I dont create the market i work in it like all of you.
***Truckerdave, we have been around for over 100 years we arent going anywhere. I assume you are an owner operator. Explain to me how a 1 man 1 truck show could service Customers on their own without a broker like CHR. Brokers provide ascess to freight that smaller companies can't service with their limited capacity. I can cover freight with or without owner operators. It might not be CHR but I am sure you have a nice tight suckle on the teet of a broker. Might rethink who is the parasite....James j Thanks this. -
Well. Mr. or Ms. I'llThink. Your name kind of says it all. A bit arrogant and pompous, are we? Won't be scoring many points here when, for your very first post on these forums, you dig up a thread that's over 13 months old and right away attack one of our respected members.
I hauled for CHR when I was independent. Unfortunately, the guy I worked with there went to a different fleet and suddenly , the freight I was getting became so cheap I couldn't afford to haul it. Despite repeated calls to "please haul this for us, we know you'll get it there on time."
Obviously, you are not here to make friends or hear it from the other side of the phone. Too bad. You might have learned a thing or two.

Starting the day with the intent to screw the trucking company is immoral.
What goes around comes around and Karma is a real B word.
One day you and the policy makers will get theirs.rocknroll nik, bullhaulerswife, BigBadBill and 3 others Thank this. -
Do you pay for my cell phone minutes while I sit on hold for 15 minutes? By all the check calls are satisfied I wasted $10. This isn't to update the customer but procedures to satisfy CHR's curiosity. A simple loaded call and empty call is all you need. Then we wouldn't have to wait on the phone so long.
The majority of CHR CSR's have a snotty attitude on the phone. How about spreading a little cheer? Your name says it all.
This attitude drivers have towards CHR is built from the way you treat us. I'm glad I don't have to pull your freight but once every couple months to relocate. Because that's all you're good for.
You can ask anyone on this forum, I'm pretty calm. You're very presence pisses me off! Get back to work and answer that phone you weasel! -
Just what that peckerhead calls himself pisses me off! I'll think, you drive? With a pea size brain i doubt much thought goes into anything except screwing drivers..Injun and bullhaulerswife Thank this.
