Thanks. My steers are 295/70R22.5 mounted on a flat faced wheel with a 3.25 offset. I can carry 14,600 on my steers and the wider stance helps the tires wear better.
When I first saw them on a buddies rig they looked like bigger tires. Kind of reminds me of similar to balloon tires on a dump truck or cement mixer, but not as large.
Yeah usually you see those on heavy single unit trucks. Fire engines, rotator-wreckers, cement mixer, etc. Those are rated for 10,000 lbs each IIRC.
