    No fuse. No relay.

There is SAM modules with processor and dozen smart MOSFET chips. BTW, sometimes internal short circuit protection fails and they may blow. I used to fix SAM modules.

To understand how does this stuff work i wanna pay your attention on small hazard lightn button and small panel

It is called MSF (modular switch panel). All switches in cabin are connected with this unit. Some buttons are really digital and they send data to MSF with ISO9241 line (also know as k-line, really this is single wire datalink)

MSF communicates with base modul (panel with fuses) and SAM modules by CAN.

If you think there is only one network in your truck, u are wrong a bit.

Also used VCI to MCM CAN for engine control. J1939 for vehicle control unit to ABS ore EBS, ECAS, Distronic and all other stuff communication.

The other separated CAN is aftertreatment CAN - two wires that linclude in one network all aftertreatment stuff like DEF pump and NOX sensors. This line is also used for diagnostics.

Comlicated? yes, but Mercedes Actros as donor of all these crazy ideas is much more complex

I've got an AC problem....on my 2011 cascadia. All the fuses are good, new AC pump, condenser and lines. The AC will not turn on. It's been in three shops and all they can tell me is there is an electrical issue...

For a AC problem a good automotive shop can often be better unless it's in the ecm

I'm thinking I heard there's a recall on that AC motor issue due to overheating the wiring and causing fires I'm not sure what years though

I have seen no such recall or TSB. If you could find it that'd be great.

I owe another debt of gratitude to everyone on the forum. I have three outlets on my truck, dash, right side shelf and sleeper. The dash is my mainstay while driving and the sleeper during parking time. The sleeper went out tonight but with the help of this thread plus a little grit I found the bad fuse behind the driver seat. Thanks to all and to all safe travels.
