can anyone tell me how many cigarette lighter type outlets most trucks have?

and....if more than one, can you use more than one 400w inverter at the same time, for those drivers that are limited by their company to only using the plug-in type inverters? :biggrin_1square5:

don't try to use an adapter to run more than one inverter, it will just blow fuses, my truck has 3 separate outlets that are on separate circuits. when i was a company driver I had a set up that used some alligator clips that I clamped to the batteries and just unhooked before i went to the terminal

My truck (Columbia style but called a Heritage edition) has 4
1 dash, 1 left bottom cabinet for fridge, 1 right cabinet for TV and one in the sleeper by temp/radio controllers..

I added a 3 way on the dash where the CB hooks up to. I cut of the cigarette lighter plug and wired it to the CB conection on the dash..
Here I have it nicly wired with small zip ties for my Sirrus, cell phone and Ionizer... The CB is wired directly to the fuse box battery connection using the correct wire hook ends.. (CB need a good power source anyways Galaxy 95T2)

So in all I have 7 cigarette connection (3 added by using a 3 way)

Tried to add a two way to one of the outlets and melted the thing in less than a day... Try and get an inverter wired to the battery.
