Cincinnati to Modesto CA, I80 or I40.

Not sure when you'll be leaving, but the weather man says rain here in California and snow in the Sierras this weekend. If you're taking 80, keep that in mind when you're heading into California.

 

US50 is a great drive. Emporia, KS to Carson City, NV. Just don't do it if your schedule is tight.

 

Just make sure you're confident in your truck before taking that route. Route 50 across Nevada is about as "middle of know where" as you can get in the US. Getting a roadside repair could take a lot of hours, that is if you have cell reception where you break down.

 

And tons of foreign reefer teams dumping out P bottles at the fuel pumps and parking spaces.
