Obviously you are one of those "TOUGH TRUCKERS".. common you know what forced dispatch is all about. This does not mean you necessarily play their little "I'm the Dispatcher" games, only that this is the label in which in entails. In the common work place it is otherwise known as a " Horrendous Work Environment". But of course in the trucking industry there are no such things.....RIGHT!!!

:tongueSTARS9::tongueSTARS9::smt117There are SOOOOOO many logbook Professionals out there today, who of course have probably written at least half of the hours of service rules themselves, why not just sign the pages and take them directly to the dispatchers and have them fill in the blanks? if your going to be required to lie ( and well....ugh DUMB enough to do it!) you might as well save yourself the headaches and let them tell the lies for you either way it's going to have your name on it...OH! which BTW means it will be YOU who will be held accountable. DO THE MATH!!!!!

Actually I did that once dispatch didn't like my reason for stopping so I handed him the log book and told him to fill it out in his name and sign and I would gladly give it to DOT and let them see what they thought. he tells me he doesn't have a CDL. I said EXACTLY and walked away. nuff said.

all of this nonsense because we are not being paid for all the work we do!!!

If drivers were paid by the hour,FOR EVERY MINUTE WE ARE WORKING,NOT JUST FOR DRIVING TIME, BUT EVERY STINKING MINUTE, we wouldnt be playing the stupid logbook game.

    WAKE UP DRIVERS!!!

YOU ARE BEING ROBBED! YOUR COMPANY IS STEALING YOUR TIME.

EVERY MINUTE THAT YOU ARE DRIVING, WAITING TO BE LOADED/UNLOADED, WAITNG FOR THE NEXT LOAD, FUELING, INSPECTING THEIR EQUIPMENT ,ETC SHOULD BE COMPENSATED TIME!!!

Hi welcome to the forum. Now with that out of the way, where does it say I can not be in the sleeper?? I believe fmcsa says "All time loading, unloading, supervising, or attending your truck; or handling paperwork for shipments" well I'm not loading the trucking or counting freight or messing with paperwork so I'm going in the sleeper nuff said.

    You also said this:
No one said it didn't, but I don't mind logging it because I'm actually working. As far as your childish 3 day graduate comment, well think what you want:biggrin_25513:

    You also said this:
Well apperantley you think you are too, seeing as how you made 5 posts in a row about it:biggrin_25523:

I really don't know who all your posts were directied, that's what the quote button is for to the right of every post:biggrin_255:

ok, so i'm new to this site. Just recently found it a couple of day's ago while doing some research on Circle City a.k.a. Wheel Wright Trucking. My husband actually has worked for Circle City in the past and they seemed alright then. the dispatcher he had was a very sweet young lady, but, unfortunately she doesn't work there anymore, which i hate cuz his dispatch that his has now, ugh...don't even get me started on that old bitty. I do not have my cdl's...i will admite that....but i am learning stuff about the CSA2010 thing that just came out last year. talk about tightening up the belt on ya'll. and you would think these dispatcher's would read up on it and understand or at least swap out and let the driver's dispatch while the dispatcher's drive and let them see what it's like. I did, however, find Wheel Wright's safety report....I must say....I'm shocked their operating and running truck's. All those violation's are ridiculous! the one that really got me was the truck maintenance ( think i spelled that right). I think i've "ranted" a little bit...lol...you guy's be careful out there!

I hate to tell you all. But once you pull into a lot a shipper or reciever then you go from line 3 driving down to line 4 on duty not driving. For a minimum of 15 minutes. Then as long as your not on the dock performing any duties pertaining to your load then you by law can show either off duty not driving or lay n bunk watch a movie and show sleeper birth. I have had a lot of log inspections and have been thru 3 d.o.t audits over my 14 years of driving. I have never received a log book violation
