Class 3 License Alberta Oil Fields Job

This is what you have to do. Get your but down to Alberta (GP) and hit all the companies in person. You will get a job, there are signs everywhere, presentation is key. Prepare yourself, the cost of living is not cheap, check the Kijiji adds for accommodation costs I was shocked in what people are charging for rooms.
All the fracking companies are looking for guys, Trican, Calfrac, Sanjel,Canyon, just to name a few. If you want it go get it, if your a younger guy you might be a good candidate for the fracking crew.
Im in GP now so I see the sign everywhere....

 

Thanks freedom4me, if I had the money I'd have left for Grand Prairie in april to get my face in there before spring thaw. Not that young anymore (mid 30's) but I get carded every single time I try to buy smokes or booze, so I guess that counts for something(don't know if it's a good or bad something). Lived out in Fairview/Rycroft for a few months a couple years ago for farm work (spring rush) and saying 'cost of living isn't cheap out there' is like saying 'the sun is kinda warm'.LOL. Electricity on a three bedroom house with one fridge and no a/c(at all) or people in it for 16 hours a day was almost 300$ a month. Anyway That's exactly where I'm headed once I put some $$$ in the bank down here. Thinking I might have to go back to construction (I used to insulate and tape) just so I can do that though. So much for putting money AND experience under my belt before I head back out west.

 

I moved up from Kamloops, unemployed and hooked a job. Im 45 so younger than you!!
