Hmmmm decision, do i want to make 500 a week for 6 weeks for training when the first 2 weeks is only training. and then after that you re teaming by saving the company money for 4 weeks paying the student a flat rate for teaming with his trainer. Then after u solo out u get a whopping 25 cents a mile. And if u take more than 2 days off regardless of how long u stayed out. u have to turn your truck in because swift has such a huge turnover rate.
Or do you want to work for a smaller company making 350 a week for training. with no minium on how long u have to be on the truck and can be solo after 2-3 weeks and make 30 cents a mile to start off which is more than 100 a week difference to the 25 cents a mile swift offers u.
More than a yr ago when i was in school swift came in 500 a week wow sounds good
Werner has apus even better
May no recruiters came in heard bout em word of mouth, and happy i chose them 90% of the people i went to school with are out of the industry now due to working with werner and swift. i do believe you dont look at the training pay of a company to decide where u want to work at. Every company has weakeness and strengths its all on what fits u.

and in all reality with mays program you re in a truck sooner so actually you re still making more money with may then swift in 6 weeks because you re solo sooner
-
The earlier your in a truck the better it is for your bank act... although if you train longer and master your skills everyone around you is much safer as is your career.

Now Joker...do you really want to compare Swift's turnover against May's turnover ratio?
Both are like a revolving door. One of the management folks at May told me their turnover rate is 140%. Don't imagine Swift's is any better. -
