Class B stuff isn't really general freight I mean it can be, but it's usually either end of line final mile delivery or vocational stuff, dump trucks, food delivery, construction/utility trucks, tree companies snow plows because tractor trailer I mean I guess with enough weight over the axles I guess you could use a tractor trailer to plow snow, but straight trucks work better for plowing snow, I can't say with the exception of the infamous "tow plow" I've never really seen combination vehicles plowing snow.

I got my first true commercial experience in a 5-ton truck. I fell in love with the road and driving locally. Fortunately here in Canada, you can drive up to a 5-ton (two axles, six wheels) with a regular Class 5 driver's license (four-wheeler).

I left that job (I was forced out because I wanted more than 50 cents over minimum wage for a $5+ over minimum wage job) and floated around mostly unemployed for 8 months before getting involved in a provincial government-sponsored truck driver training program that local companies pay into to get "fresh meat" and became a proper Class 1 driver (Class A CDL equivalent for Canada, Class AZ for Ontario).

I tried the "highway" thing and couldn't stand living out of the truck. A regional/city gig at my company pretty much fell into my lap and I took it without any hesitation and now love my job more than anything else I've ever done in my life when it comes to school or work.
