Dont really want to drive OTR, so I thought I would get my class B - paid by the unemployment office - and if I cant get work than hook-up with a
CDL mill like Swift. My question is: CDL B or CDL B with dump truck, if I go dump truck I have to pay some out of pocket, anybody out there know the dump truck business.

    Thanks,

    Ed

The dump business is down now due to the lack of construction.
I would not bother with a class B get a class A with all the bells and whistles and a TWIC card if you are near a port.

Good luck, got my CDL-A almost a year ago and not yet found suitable employment that is not OTR.
