Hi I am new here and wante to ask if I have a class B and want a Class A do I still have to go to a school to get it I ama school bus driver now and want to drive a truck I did get the A permit even before I start class on the May 8th can someone tell me can I gt hired with what i have

The answer to your question is...no.
The written portion of the test is done right at Motor vehicle and your permit is actually proof that you have taken and passed the written portion.
You only need a current class A driver and a truck to take the skills section.
(But anyone who is going to hire you will want a school under your belt.)

I think this one was 4,000 and from what I heard it was a really good one.
You can get hired with what you have, but a company will put you through their own school and chrage you a lot of $$$$$ for it.
The State school route is a much better way to go about it. You will not be an indentured servant once you graduate, meaning you will be free to work anywhere you want to. If you do a training program for one of the big companies, you have to stay with them for a year or two at lousy pay and every week, they pull out $$$ to "pay them back" for your school.kickin chicken and indiana_bound Thank this. -
