Class C Misdemeanor for drug paraphernalia - Can I get a trucking job?

As said before call companies first before signing up for schools. The schools will tell you it won't be a problem as they just want your $$$. Some companies will hire with speeding tickets in my recent orientation there was a guy that had a 12mph & 28mph over and was still hired. Also a lot f companies are starting to do hair test for drugs so if you are even an occasional user they will find out.

 

Sounds like your MVR won't pose an issue. Drug-related misdemeanors esp. w/in 5 yrs can make it tricky; most "megas" won't touch you for at least a few years, although you will likely come accross several that will pre-approve you. I'm sure there's plenty of smaller outfits that you could latch on with, but you typically need a CDL before talking to them.

 

on a background check it will show up and if you didn't tell them they will walk you right out the door

 

From personal experience, doesn't really matter. The judge will say, "Mr. SoAndSo is on trial for possession, not use."
