Classic XL upper bunk won't lock in raised position?

    Recently picked up a Classic XL(2000) with a condo double bunk. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the upper bunk to stay in the raised position. I can pull the cord and raise it, but it won't stay locked up right.

    Is there a trick to it?

    Yeah....look where it swivels up on the sides. Should be 2 bolts...one on either side that engauge when the bunk goes up. They are on a spring, so if they dont, the spring is busted.
