Hey all, long time no see. I’ve been doing mixer truck for the last 4.5 years or so here in Houston .Ready to make a change into a different path. I have a class A cdl with X endorsement, however I am seeking work as a Class B driver. Just preference now I guess after all the mixer driving. Preferably local work, but I could do Otr if necessary. Does anyone know the hourly/work life/details of these companies? Is OT regular, how’s the balance? Mixer truck pretty much killed my scheduling as it was so random everyday. Any input would be great. Thanks

Trucking in general is going right into the toilet. Next year at this time not only will we all driving at 65 mph but we’ll be sharing the road with more autonomous trucks also driving at 65. I honestly don’t see how that is going to work.
