If the trailer has thin wood, when you get tired of it. Replace with thick hardwood. Its heavier, but takes great abuse. I think ours are 2 inches thick? Maybe? Its been awhile since ive seen loose boards laying around the yard.
But we have some trailers, they are pushing 15+ years old. Everything but the floor has been worked on or replaced at some point. The trailers are being phased out due to to much cost to fix them compared to buying new. The trailers are falling apart around the floor, floor just keeps on chugging along taking its daily beating.
With the thick hardwood...
Empty truck and trailer 48ft 31,100
Bobtail 18500-19000
53ft, i forget the exact additional weight, ill get it one day.TallJoe Thanks this. -

I washed out this dry van trailer once so far.
I have a mess after the crap load of mulch. It is not mulch but all the dirt and clay they brought in from outside with the forklift. It is 20 degrees outside, is it going to damage anything to wash it out? -

It would take me the whole day and a bucket of sweat to mop it out.Scooter Jones Thanks this.
