Clearances on I78 In PA

    You probably are very qualified then, but everyone doesn’t stay under 13’6. That is their choice when they choose to do so. When I was a Teamster I never ran over 13’6 because that was the deal. Especially coming out of Detroit or going thru Chicago. Now that I am an owner op I load my truck how I and the law see fit which is still about 13’6, but that isn’t the point with the OPS post. He asked a simple question and mostly got non carhaulers uninformed replies. We all know if you run too tall it is your baby when you tear something up. I have hauled out of Ft. Wayne with only 5 trucks because 6 would have made me 13’8. I wouldn’t think about leaving a pickup and a car behind because of 2” with my truck now.

    Atlas shows bridges shorter than 13 6, says n9thing about 13 11.

    If PA is legal for 14 foot, then he is very justified in asking.
