So I just got 190k on my tractor and went and put some new Michelin steers on yesterday. Well last night and now today I notice when I take off kind of fast or I’m driving along and have to come to a complete stop or make a sharp right or left turn there like a clicking/popping sound almost like something is sliding around or rubbing. So I go to a mechanic this morning to get truck greased he checks all my suspension as far as bolts pins and tyrods etc everything is intact. But I’ll also add I talked to a guy who is truck savvy and mechanical inclined and said it could be my leaf spring bushings gone bad? ( mine are sealed they aren’t open to grease) but why weren’t they making this noise before I changed my tires if they have gone bad ?
does anybody have any suggestions what it could possibly be that’s making that noise and if I turn slow or break slow it doesn’t make it only when it’s sudden moves etc.
