    Sure you can do it that way but you will have that you were involved in an accident on your record.
    If you do it like windsmith sugested, and I have done it the same way before, your insurance company will have nothing to do with it and you will get your truck repaired and maintain a clean record.

    Probably the other guy's safety guy is waiting to talk with the other driver, in person. Anyone can take pics of a truck and claim that that truck hit mine.
