Clock ticking for analog televisions

I knew this was coming but now I HAVE to deal with my dad and make him understand his old set up is NOT gonna work....LOL, how fun he hates technology to begin with.

One time he was complaining about computers and I told him hey dad that car you drive....its just a huge computer going down the road, his reply?

DONT TELL ME THAT OR I WILL DRIVE IT UP A TREE.......sad but true..

 

Actually, the cable industry and other broadcasters have not been happy with the mandate. It's been out for several years now. It's costing them a bundle to switch everything over to HDTV.

 

Is it a digital clock that is ticking, or is the clock analog?
