How many times have you seen a truck come out of a shop, tire or otherwise, and the driver just jumps in, fires up, and never looks at a thing?

So???? There's no drum or shoes in the pic. Brake chamber is attached..... No slack adjuster or s cam....How did the shoes and drum slip out the backside?????
Lots had to go wrong for all that to happen. Maybe fake news?ducnut Thanks this. -

“The driver said a mechanic had just worked on it a few days ago and must not have tightened them appropriately.”
I call BS. By the few pictures shown, that pile hasn’t been touched in a really long time. If it had, more than likely, that greasy hubcap would have some kind of marks on it. Plus it’s Oklahoma, which is almost Mexico.

Something doesn't add up. Where's the slack adjuster? No way in hell it just magically fell off. The wheel still has lug nuts on it. Loose but still no way the rim is falling off with them still on there.
D.Tibbitt, Big Road Skateboard and ducnut Thank this. -
The bungee is what has me wondering about a lot of things.
Magoo1968, mjd4277, gentleroger and 2 others Thank this.
