Just got done submitting an application for US Foods. 20 minutes later got an email saying they aren't going forward with me.... Holy ####, HR could have at least looked at it. I have 5 years experience and a spotless, I mean spotless record. Whelp... back to the drawing board.

Not set in stone on anything, just putting my feelers out there.

I don't know if Ashley Furniture is on your list, but their in Leesport. LTL side makes over $90k and physical labor is involved, but you'll be out a week at a time though. Not sure if that's an option. Same with Walmart in Pottsville.

I don't know if you have Grocery Haulers on your list, but they're a very good company to work for. You get free healthcare (that's if Brenigsville turns Union), pension, and Stroehman Drivers use to get severance pay as well (don't know if that transferred over to Grocery Haulers). And Bimbo Bakeries is not just the largest Bakery in the US, but Globally. So they ain't going nowhere.

Id like to stay local. Put in apps at dean, clover, albertsons, sysco, mbm.
Tomorrow ill do more like grocery haulers etc.

Currently still studying the hazmat guide. Sheetz is my end game. Decided that the other day. You think you have all the time in the world, then you start looking for a job while you have a job. No more time. Lol

Sheetz hiring could be instant, or a couple years away from application date. Gotta prepare for a layover.

I'm sortta biased since I came from the bakery industry, but good luck on your search.

On a side note, you can get ALL the Entehmanns you want at Grocery Haulers lol.

Probably that line that says, "expected income".

If you expect income driver, you're not right for us. Lol.

If you're not dead set on food you wanna give us a call? We have two empty trucks right now. It's the busy season and I can't do everything.

    PM me.

Just signed my name back to a job i loved doing with my pop when i was a younger boy.

Actually got hired on with the same company he retired from. Small outfit, doing farm milk pick ups. Start next saturday or sunday. Pretty excited.

You've seen us around, white and blue western stars, macks, shakers....

Doesn't ring a bell but I'll keep my eyes pealed when I get back home.

Picking up milk at the farms sounds interesting. I've thought about it before.
