Thats $5621 USD. $1460 Clutch parts. $2190 Labor. The $1971 extra parts for Rear main seal and Structure sealer sounds like a lot. Parts are less than $500 AUD. Must include about $2000 AUD for extra Labor. Either way, sounds about right. A Friend of mine spent $7k USD for same Job. That’s more than your quote. @blairandgretchen are from Down Under. Maybe he’ll have a better idea. I can tell you, after doing mine myself. It’s well worth it to have it done. Took Me 4 weeks, not having all the right tools. Resting in between days. Wrestling with it all. Always reminded by Mechanics that it can be done in a day. Lol. So it goes. That was the biggest job I’ve ever done. Never again. Got to give the Mechanics credit. It’s hard work. They earn every penny on that one.

Those are expensive, but you want to do those now too.

An inframe on a Cummins is in thirds. You're basically doing the back third.

The front structure as you are calling it, is the gear housing. That gasket is $175. The labor is $6K.

So if you can avoid that until you do the entire inframe, you'll save yourself about $4K.

While the sump is off should you do anything checks on the engine itself, what can you tell about engine health from the bottom?

You can pump up the coolant system and look to see if coolant is tracking out of the liners. Could also pull off a main and insert and look at the bearings.

Ended up costing about $10k AUD, new engine mounts, clutch, clutch brake, clutch booster, rear structure gasket, fly wheel machined, new rear main seal, new sump gasket.

From my research parts in Aus are about 20% more than US, all the parts used were genuine.

    Cheers for the help.
