If i ever get a direct answer to the problem i will post it.
Kinda funny that greasing it cures the problem for a very short time.
My thoughts are the bearing is getting dry too fast.....?
It feels like it shifts ok but the shifter does have a lot of slop in it for having just over 200k on the truck.
When i stop to sleep i have to throw my coat over the shifter to stop the rattle or it drives me nuts.
