Won't need a light, but remember VA is 55 mph and 30 minutes after sunrise and 30 minutes before sunset. Cross the scales no matter what pre pass says.

    coastie Thanks this.

Well I have been given another wrench to throw into the works, SNOW flurries. I'm not experienced in Oversize loads, but I am thinking in bad weather they can not move. Am I correct?

    Naw
    Only in real bad weather
With only 2" past the rail I don't think you will have any trouble.
First scale will tell you if its to bad to run.
My signs get used every day and are dirty but work just fine
Don't waste money on new ones
Don't wig out about it the first time is always the hardest

Well I still sitting in Nitro at the Pilot. did not get the permits till after 4PM and read no travel on WV toll road after 4PM...

I have to place the redflags still but other than that ready to roll when the sun comes up.

I did get one new sign and it was the only one I could get on the front. I just got to figure out how to do the flags to stay. Not any other oversize here to cheat off of them....

WV nothing required other than the over size banners front and back.

VA Red Flag on the 4 corners of the load.

If they are going on a wood crate just nail them
If its only a couple of inches over the rail just use some rubber straps to to shafts and rails
Also you will never find two states with the same regs

Thanks for all of your help. I guess I have to put them on the tracks.

Tarp straps, nails, wire ties, I have even used screws, magnets, duct tape. I think the TP will pop you for a little extra.
