no it not the black trk with gold letters. That is Smith Transport out of PA, and they pull dry vans. This is a small 100% O/O reefer company.

Made 2 Phone calls to 2 different Companies, Smith Transportation , Have to live within 50 miles of Kansas City, Called MCT also, due to several people going out of Business that I worked for, they are out also.

Do have a chance for a small Co out of Memphis, already hired as of last week, but had a reservation on them from what I read in their Hauling agreement. Got to do something.

Thanks Running a business of any type is risky and if your going to go anywhere got to take some risk in Life. Good luck for the future...

I went to the site and looks as to be running Rail Freight. Might be something to that, I been suggested many times of doing that. I just do not like pulling containers, did once in 98 abd was scared to death several times when I hit a small bump, felt as the Cantainer was going over.

Well I have a plan and will deadhead over to Memphis and lease on to a small operation there. I seen some red flags, but I have to do something. To avoid what raised the red flags is Do not be late, and give'em way in advance notice before leaving.

Well another one bites the dust. No communication right up front, so I left out of Memphis deadheading home via Atlanta to turn in the stepdeck.

I was told many times yesterday, if I did not have bad luck, I would have no luck at all.. Yep while waiting for the Company I was going to Lease on to, I got Robbed. No biggy, All they got was no more than 60.00. and 2 cards that was cancealed right away. But the cards was at their limits any way, so the Joke is on them.

Currently parked in Temple Ga hoping the fog would lift so I can get on into Atlanta and on home. I did not leave Memphis without a plan, I will be runnig under a friends Authority and he is standing by incase I need fuel. 40 miles to Atlanta, with 1/8th a tank of fuel. Not bad since I left out of Hutchins KS (1064 miles) with only 3/4 tank.
