Coastie Going O/O at last

It happen at the Pilot in Memphis. I let my guard down, so it happen. Life goes on no big deal..

 

Cause of several jobs went under, they said I had to many jobs, like it was my fault and left them, but in reality they left me..

 

I made it home on Friday, turned the stepdeck in and met up with a guy not far from where I live and going to join forces with him. Will first start out with a rented Dry Van till we can afford to buy a Reefer.

There is parts of his Biz I do not agree with but beggers can't be to choosy, but he is seeing the light and hopefully for his sake change the way. He has a Broker whom wiggled into his Business and playing Dispatcher for him. Now this Broker is living off of him since his brokerage firm he was working for went out of business.

I will keep my eyes open and be saving up for my own authority just in case this deal goes sour. Once I leave him if I do, it will to go out on my own with my own authority.

 

Another week gone by and my truck still sits. The guy whom I was going to lease on with has been running his own truck and forgot about me. So I spent the last few days putting in Applications with other companies.

One guy I worked for when I came back out, has promised once he can, if I am not working yet, he'll buy a Reefer and let me run under his Authority. The money he waiting on is from his Son's Accident a few months back.
