Well I also have one of the 3 in one printers, but it did not come with the cable to go to my Laptop, so I have no way of sending or receiving faxes. So it is still in the box. I got it so I would have the ability in the truck once I did get my own authority. One of thing I do not like about my Pete, Space. I have no space for the Printer, or Microwave. Gee I miss Frieghtliners. ahahahah To have one just for the house not so good. On average, I am home maybe 3 ays a month, nobody at home unless I am. SO I do not have a landline, TV Services.

You shouldn't need it hooked up to your laptop to send and recieve faxes. You should be able to just plug it in and hook up your phone line to it and use it.

DirecTV or Dish network converter, antenna and tube. A tethered cell phone could be hooked up for FAX. But if you don't have room for a microwave - bummer. Ah, the joys of a condo-sleeper FreightLiner! Even if it isn't a classic!!

Well at home I do not have a landline to hook up to. When I am trucking I am not home enough to be worth the cost to set one back up. I use my Cell phone for everything. And I have an Aircard for my laptop which has it own phone number.

Yeah Only reason I got the Pete was it had a cummins engine where all the Freightshakers had Detriots, and I have the worst luck with Detriots

Since you have the printer and scanner you could use a service like "my fax". You send and receive the faxes through email. I think it runs close to $9.00 a month.

Goes back to the problem of hooking up my Printer/Scanner to my Laptop.

Cable did not come with the Printer, and local Wal Mart did not have a cable, and at the moment, No money to buy one if I found one. But thanks for the suggestion any way.
