    This is my set up for now. I just purchased the fire stick, because made in America, only whip that says this. Not sure about swr yet. Put the tuning stew about 1/2 way out. It does seem my scwelch has to be cut back to 80 percent before I here nothing.

    4 ft fire stick. I am amazed at my reception, and output. But the factory coax and antenna was garbage , only had a nub on old driver installed mount, and coax.

    Sounds good to me!

    I run a 4.6-foot Wilson 500 mag-mount on a sedan roof with the Cobra 19. It gets out there on the deep end of the pool with the big boys; except, of course, for the ones with foot warmers hot enough for blisters. I do have a little amp producing about 80 watts that helps when conditions get bad enough.
