DO not buy this dash cam. I'm on my second one. It freezes up randomly, and you have to take a pen and press the reset button. It's bother some having a dash cam and wondering if it will be recording when something bad happens.

Cobra's customer support isn't much help. They wont do any repairs unless you have the original store receipt. Not a company that stand's behind their products.

The reason I really like this dash cam, it has a button on the top that I can press that will save a clip automatically so I can view it later. There are better dash cams out there, stay away from the Garmin's. Over priced for what they do.

It seems if you want something real, look online or try Diesel Boss.

If you recall, my other CDR 810 dash cam by Cobra is a paper weight in my truck. The screen turns to grey snow when I press the record button. But, no receipt so Cobra wont help. I have the receipt for this one, and when I get home I'm going to send the pile of junk in for repair or replacement. Sadly, they will send it back and I'm sure it will do the same thing.

I have one and haven't had any issues. I'm happy with mine thus far.

I'm using the cobra cam. I've had to start using my charging cable for my Blue Parrot expressway. The supplied cable is not up to the job. I've also set the screen to turn off after one minute. This cuts down on the heat inside the cam. The unit works well doing those two things. Heat is the main thing that this unit does not like. If it gets too hot, it will stop working.

I purchased a "top dawg" one like 2 years ago. .. #### I didn't realize is been that long. ... but picked it up using only points at loves, and is still going well with no issues. But thanks op I'll stay away from it, and sorry to hear about your problems with it. I do hope they sorry it out.
