sure that's not "ABS 136"? When you turn your key on, do you hear a series of clicks going on and off? That should be the ABS actuators doing a self-test.

At key on there are several electronic control modules that boot up and start to communicate with each other. When one module is expecting communication from another, but doesn't get it you will start to get little warning messages like this. At key-on, only for a second or two these messages need to be ignored as all the modules are still booting up and performing key-on self tests and still initiating communication. Basically the cluster is looking for the ABS (136 is the electronic address of the ABS module) but the ABS is not fully communicating yet as it is still going through start up sequence. I have seen this on other truck models all the time. There is no fault. Perfectly normal. If there is a fault the message will stay with an ABS warning light.

    guru2323 Thanks this.
