I just got a Coleman cooler and wondering how long you can let it run while the truck is off.
Coleman cooler. Time plugged in if unit is off.

That would depend on how many electronics you have running in the truck , there are so many things running in the background that you don't think of, also how good are your batteries. Without any thing running except background items, in my husbands 2005 Volvo in winter, we could sit for about 6 hours before the low battery alarm would go off. I think we did have the 12volt heating blankets on some. Don't load up on food and expect to leave it running for a long length of time, or if you go home, etc.

That's going to depend on your truck, how many batteries you have, how good they are, what else is drawing off of them, etc. When I used one it never gave me issues overnight, even 12-14 hours. The plug would get really hot though, so I never left it plugged in while I was out of the truck, such as my home time/34 reset.

I leave a cooler olugged in overnight, and tryck starts fine. I've had others that low battery shutoff kicked in at 6 hours.
