Yea, sometimes the collection part was a fun time. Just watch out now for video cameras. Never directly threaten them. There are other words and ways to do that. Sometimes car burn for no reason. Windows get broke, people trip and fall resulting in broken bones

People that are flakes are flakes 100% of the time. So getting $$$ from them isn't too easy. Asking/suing usually won't work. I like the "send cousin Guido for a personal visit" method myself.

I'm with the file on their bond. If you filled out a broker packet/contract their broker bond information should be in with that contract. You call the bonding company. They will send you a sheet to fill out. Information on load and broker. Usually when the bond company gets this information, you will be paid within a week.
Unless as stated above too many claims against broker. You may have to share with other claims.
I have found once you have to go to collections to get your pay. Its too late to get much of your pay. After court costs and filing fees and service fees. Because even if you get a judgement in your favor, you still have to try to collect. If you can't you take them back to court and then you may have a collection/payment arrangement. Not likely.
    Good luck

Are they close enough to go see in person? People that don't pay bills are cowards. They like to dodge phone calls and avoid you but often if you confront them face to face they will pay. I am not saying anything violent just go to thier office look them in the eye and tell them you need your money.

One time we had a guy at my old job where I was manager that owed us close to 20k. I went to his office and I knew he was there but the secretary said he was busy. I said no problem I will wait. I sat there four hours before he came out and I left with a check.

I had a turd burn me in 2014 from Colorado, his names Bill Prygon , Cornerstone Transport. Liars and con artists will lie and think they are slick till they have teeth knocked out. Best revenge is give it time but keep an eye on em, let them forget who and how many people they owe till one day they find out you weren't playing after all.She might need a lady to rough her up.just saying

I love all these internet rambo's popping up. Common guys, the only thing you really can do is courts (bond, suing, etc.) or at the absolute most is the one suggestion of simply starring the person down if you are local enough to do that. How good will money be in jail, I mean they will know who assaulted them and contrary to opinion here cops are not typically morons. They will find you, charge you with assault and put you in jail anyway from a few days to a few years. How will that help you and your family then?
