Initiate court action according to the terms in your lease. If you have no terms for collection. First I would hire an attorney that has experience in Trucking Leases.
I doubt the company has a bond to file against.
Twenty thousand is an amount that can not be filed in small claims. Well not where I live. It may be where you live. May be you could tell the company you will contact all the companies you hauled for to get paid.
    Worth a try.
    Good luck.

You might want to contact the shipper and tell them your situation and let them know what kinda bottom feeders they are.

What does your lease say? That's where you start. An attorney should be able to help you. Don't forget to add in their costs to your demand for payment.
