Probably should have mentioned that's the back road to Moad Utah.

All the time I've spent in Moab, and always thought that turn before the river just went to a park. Is it a decent run? Places to pull off and enjoy the weekend?

There is a lot of small pull offs that are pretty ruff and short to let traffic by, some real nice pull offs that are level a guy could fit in and probably even turn around. There was spots if I didn't have my rear axle slid to the front I would have been dragging on the guardrail to stay in my lane and for sure 4-5 spots north bound a box trailer or even the stacks on a truck would be against the overhanging rock and trees. 40 miles of awesome scenery though.
It was posted nothing over 55,000 lbs, I don't think I'd take it in a 48' fixed spread or longer and definitely not during the busy season. It's definitely cooler than 119 believe it or not.

Must've been fun, what with all the tourists on the road....

Oh, man, that road looks BA-A-A-A-A-A-AD!!!!!

FWIW, I once did about a 10 mile road that was about as bad, and I must've lost nearly 10 lbs. just in sweat!!

I was fortunate to run it on a slow tourist day. It definitely takes time and patience.
