Not just the 10th, the entire Constitution is treated like toilet paper nowadays.

Certain parts, like the interstate commerce clause, the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment, and in the case of Roe vs Wade the 4th Amendment, are (ab)used to justify any and every type of change desired by the globalist elites and their useful idiots without regard for the actual text of the relevant Amendment/clause, historical context, or the intent of the framers.

Meanwhile other parts like the 2nd, 9th, and 10th are routinely and progressively infringed upon or completely ignored by those who believe that the ends of progress justify any means.

This just popped up in my feed:

The whole thing is just so sad. i think part of the problem is that there is not enough training regarding mountain type driving. i never really learned until recently that you have to take it slow going down the mountain. Patience is the only way.

i never did that much OTR driving. i'm a P+D driver and most of my driving has been local. On the occasions that i did do OTR or linehaul driving it was very minimal in mountain type areas and/or i was light.

i am not defending the guy because it's pretty obvious what the runaway ramps are for. But there's not a clear way to understand how much heat and how quickly the heat can build up when going down a long grade. Maybe it's time someone made a good video about this?

I’m not saying that you are wrong…but the problems that they had BEFORE the CDLs were the multiple driver’s license, permits, ..etc. Every state did it’s own thing. Today, that would be a nightmare. In OSOW, every state has it’s own oversized overweight regs. That really complicates things.

I agree a pain indeed but I'm not a fan of overriding State's rights and/or the Constitution in favor of convenience. Just look at how many Americans currently forfeit their Second Amendment rights because they're afraid of breaking some BS law. It'll keep getting worse and worse if we continue down that path.

Like I said, I didn’t say you were wrong. But going from law abiding to CNN criminal just for crossing a state line is absurd.

Yes, that's my point. Expecting the states to submit to even more Federal overreach. Bring your A Game and do your due diligence and you won't have to worry about what CNN thinks.

We disagree for the same exact reasons.
    Funny how that works.
I think EVERYBODY should play by the same rules.

    Insults don't help your case.

With 80 000lbs at 65 mph they heat up fast enough for you to feel as they get soft after a few applications on that grade. Today this is mitigated by extremely powerful jakebrakes. Without them, all the fresh mega recruits would be just as much liability like that Cuban man, on that hill.
