Hi, I just finished school and am scheduled for orientation in Columbus May 29th. I have seen so many stories of people sent home from orientation. I have a misdemeanor from over 25 years ago..disclosed it. That is all I have. I signed electronic documents for a background check, which I am assuming they already did...as I talked to the investigations dept and then it went to review and I was approved. My question is, how is orientation and for those of you that have been thru it, what is the percentage of people sent home and for what reasons? Thank you so much.

If you went to a Swift school the 1st day will be a repeat of lots of things you did at school. This is done for the benefit of people that went to non Swift schools, you will be bored to tears! Be prepared for another drug test, one guy I know got sent home because he partied way to hard between Swift school and orientation, he figured it was going to be his last chance to smoke chronic and he did not expect to be tested again within 3 weeks of his previous test. Day 2 they get into some new stuff and lots of papers to sign, some new videos to watch. Remember you are not hired until you get your driver code, so basically you are still in the interview process. Good luck!

I didn't attend a Swift school. I went to a private one. There is an externship program at the school I attended and Swift works with my school on that, so I am hoping that helps me get in.

People get sent home for Lying/Leaving stuff out of the App.
Failing Drug Test/Physical.
Not passing road test.
If you just got your CDL, they didn't used to do a road test. -
