You can call Wells Fargo customer service to get a direct answer.
But having direct deposit with them will not change what you can take out of an ATM with them. That is a limit with the Comdata card itself, just like any other debit card.

It may also be a limit on any particular ATM machine as well, no matter what your card limit is.

You could always go to Walmart to get whatever you need in cash.
Purchase any one item and you can get $100 in cash. Over and over again, and at no charge.
I once waited in line as someone did this, for ten minutes, as they made multiple transactions to get out $100 at a time.

They would have been better to have gone to the self check-out section.
Me too that time.

 

There's a number on the back of the card that you can call there's also a website where you can find atm locations that accept it. I've gotten money out thru the atm at my local Walgreens pharmacy store.

 

You think a fuel desk or a credit union will make things happen against wells fargo off the card.

Me thinks you set aside some cash so that if there is a problem in the future with the technology (*Don't think it wont...) you will have something to tide you over.

 

Comdata works with any ATM that has the cirrus logo. Your bank will probably let you take out more than a normal ATM. I took 500 at a time out at mine in Texas when my direct deposit finally started working.

 

With my last comdata card I could take off as much as needed at Walmart. You have to go to customer service to do it

 

All Comdata cards are not setup the same way. If your asking this question it means you don't know how your company has yours setup. Even comdata customer service can't tell you fully. Before you make a mistake contact your carriers comdata person and ask. Yes it is true you can use your card at walmart. However some carriers have their cards setup where you can take pay advances. These are different accounts.

 

Limit is 2500 per day.

But keep your #### mouth shet. And DO NOT show up at the customer service desk in your trucking regalia or truck. Do it in normal clothes and walk there. Preferably the hour after Loomis money truck finished the delivery of cash for the day. That way if something goes down, there are two, maybe three rifles in addition to concealed carries around...

NEVER return to the same customer service walmart to cash out. Always a different one.
