No, no it's not. There is no regulation stating as such. There is even guidance stating short times that would normally be on duty can still be off dury as long as it's short and doesn't interfere with the break.

That rule proves my point. It says you don't Have to book a short event in your log If you DO log it then it counts.

It states the exact opposite, but you do you and don't whine when you get a false log citation for never showing any sb time, if you use it.
