to get the hgt. down some. You can knock the pin loose at the bucket. That way it falls onto the stick, just put padding on the stick to keep from damaging the paint and the steel. Then use a chain or strap to hold it in place...
Might gain around 6" or so, getting it down lower

Survived the trip to Kenmore WA delivered the Beast into a housing development that was interesting to say the least. Now we are loaded with the 2nd excavator going BACK up to Kenmore the same place...deliver in the middle of the street in front of the high school. That will be Wed. I will try to take pics this time.

Tootie, I have been researching for a while now looking for a good company to lease on with hauling heavy equipment and I just happen to run across this Thread.
Do you know by any chance if they will take someone from NC or not?
I have been Doing my own thing for the last 3 yrs with a flatbed and its seems you cant get anywhere unless you lease with someone and have access to there loads.
    Thanks

YES they will take you from NC. Not real sure how the owner op stuff works BUT all the ones I have ran into are VERY HAPPY. Talk to Cheryl and see what she has to say. Combined seems to have pleanty of freight and are keeping us busy so far.

I have spoken with Cherly and she put me into contact with Jenn she is going to run me until the new trailers come in after the first of the year and then I am going to lease to them and pull a RGN trailer.
They seem like really good people told her my situation and she said they would keep me busy until I could get out there to pickup the trailer. That says alot Me being an owner op now most places want take you or let you run there frieght until you are leased on. I am looking forward to it and will keep in contact with you guys.
