How many test do they give you for high blood pressure at orientation? If you read high blood pressure more than once, are you fired and sent home? I'm going thru there scholarship program, with that being said, if you're sent home, do you still have an opportunity to keep your cdl and certification?

To those of you asking about blood pressure...do this right! Go to the doctor and if need be, get a prescription and treat this problem BEFORE it becomes an issue at each and every DOT physical time. If you have high blood pressure, NOT having it treated can cause you a whole lot more problems than not passing the DOT! How about stroke? Its no big deal. You'll get one or two medications Forget about the so-called "natural" remedies because they don't work. Forget about some "trick" you heard about on the CB because it won't work! Get an appointment, get treated and move on with your life. Get yourself an upper arm cuff BP machine and monitor your BP. An arm cuff machine is the best kind, so forget about those finger or wrist types. This is YOUR LIFE we're talking about here! At best, the stroke will kill you. At worst, you'll be paralyzed on one side of your body and nobody will understand you when you talk. Come on guys...get this done!!!
