I understand that with USA you can do like $160 a week advance, I did this last week at a truck stop. But my trainer is dedicated so I stay in a hotel on weekends 10 miles away from a truck stop. I am about a 1/4 mile from a gas station and was wondering if I can get a advance through the atm by pulling it from savings

i think that as long as your ATM card IS linked to your savings account and checking account, you should be able to do just that.
as for comdata (and others), my experience has been that if you do not get your money out of thier system..?? it went back to the employer, to be given back to you at a later time. a complete and total waste of time.
get direct deposits into your personal bank account and be rid of comdata (and the others)..also when i had such pay system, those morons charged me money just for me to get paid..??
BS...!!!!Creampie Thanks this. -
my question is I guess, as far as the $160 weekly advance they make available do you have to be at a truck stop to get the cash from that or can you draw it from a atm. I know I had to go to the fuel clerk/counter in the truck stop and ask for a advance and they pulled it off my card for me(cash)
I am really hung out here at the holtel, no food, no money. No way to get to a truck stop -
doesn't it depend on where they put that cash for you..??
if it is strictly into the comdata system, then NO, you need the truck stop.
just make sure you draw it out when you are supposed to.>!!!
make sure you cash it at the truck stop before you get to the motel.>???
or live meagerly each week, so you'll have "some pocket money"..????
it'll get better sooner than you think, hang in there....almost ALL of us had to go thru this. -
Some companies it wrks if u fuel some u can use as a bank card..if ur company only gives u $160 then that's all u can get..remember the atm charges so u would be only to get $140

some hotels have cashed a comcheck .....
-
I dont even know how to do a comcheck
-
it used to be, you call them, they give you a set of numbers.
then at the truck stop, THEY call comdata and get some numbers
then you cash the check..but the truck stops used to get a fee for this as well....back in my day, it was $2.00 -
You might wanna fire your.trainer. how long you been with him.?
-
What are you spending $160/week on? I can't say I've ever taken an advance off of a comdata card. I use my debit/check card or a credit card. Constant advances against your pay is one way to get into a hole you can never get out of.
