Yes, I've been brake checked. But you know what, I stay the hell away from the pack now. I had a rear end accident at the beginning of my career on the Van Wyck expressway in NYC. I learned from that. As I was saying. A safe following distance prevents rear end accidents. He didn't merely "bump" the limo. He hit him so hard that the limo overturned. Next.

The private fleet is not going nowhere anytime soon or the near future. Your not familiar with how our logistics works and its not your simple operation. Dedicated will always be used to support us in our peak seasons and in grocery DC'S and thats about it.

No carrier wants to see this happen but you can believe they are prepared for it when it does happen. Do you think this is the first accident Walmart has had involving a fatality ? Well no its not the wheels are still turning. We are still the largest private fleet and one of the safest on the roads.

Had this been your average joe and not a celebrity we wouldnt even be discussing this.

God bless all those involved including the driver who didn't go to work intending to kill someone.

Looks like a lot of super truckers living in glass houses these days. You think we would wait for all the facts to come out before passing judgement on one of our own.

You still cant prove it wasn't a brake check, Just because you believe in "following Distance" As do I That that could have not been a factor....My company preaches following distance and safety everyday to drivers, so we cant ever forget. But Have you seen how close some of the truckers follow? sometimes they cant help it, sometimes they want the slower vehicle to move.

It doesn't matter who is wrong or right cause we weren't there.... Oh Wait. I forgot you got front row seats and you talk to the media to..... Quickly tell me what the next version is gonna be so I wont have to wait til the next media report?

Yes. That is why I have a dash cam on my car and any truck I drive. If I were to ever rear end someone, it will be because someone cut in front of me and hit their brakes. The dash cam will show what really happened.

My wife was rear ended on a 6 lane road 3 weeks by a pick up truck speeding and not paying attention. This driver claimed my wife changed lanes in front of him. The dash cam proved he was lying.

These sprinter vans are tin cans, alterations done by a 3rd party makes them even more a death trap getting hit by a tractor trailer. Overall a horrible situation.

The driver didn't plan to kill people. Show some support for the driver and his family.

This situation can happen to anyone of us.

Right on, speak the truths.. as I stated before, any driver put yourself in this drivers shoes and see how you would like this to be you?

I'll admit; i could be wrong. But, wait until the facts present themselves before you come to a conclusion and start spouting moral superiority; you toss. Take a few minutes of your time to google news "trucker killed," and then perhaps you might see; if not, idc; its your world live accordingly; bahh bahh
